Problem Note 35183: VJUST style attribute is ignored by the ExcelXP tagset

DetailsCodeAboutRate It

The VJUST= style attribute can be used in the HTML, PRINTER (PCL/PDF/PS), and RTF destinations to control vertical justification of a cell. The valid values are T (TOP), M (MIDDLE) and B (BOTTOM). If this style attribute is used to override the default for a cell, the style override is ignored when output is created with the EXCELXP tagset.

To circumvent the problem, use PROC TEMPLATE to create a customized style element with the desired vertical justification setting, and reference that element in the STYLE= option in PROC TABULATE, REPORT, or PRINT. Please see the Full Code tab for an example.
